A Walk in the Woods

One sunny afternoon when the heat was too hot to bare in the city, I took a trip out to this lovely park on the outskirts of Paris called Bois de Vincennes. It is a big park circling Lake Daumesnil and these boats are one of the first sights. They are available to rent for twelve euro and look like a treat. 

While strolling through, sounds of peacocks can be heard and I only had to turn the corner to find a scurry of birds from ducks to geese to swans and there in between were two beautiful peacocks. 

It really is such a treat to come out to this park and I would recommend it to anyone visiting or just looking for some time out.

And bring the bike!
