Paris

Hello and welcome to my Little Bear blog.

I have decided to do a post on Paris and what it is like to live here as an expat. My last blog post was about Ireland and how living abroad can make one miss their home country. This time round, it will be from the opposite side.

Moving to any city is never an easy task but an exciting journey if you open your mind. This will be my sixth year since the big move, and I still find new parts of the city worth exploring. I just never get tired of it.

As you may well know, apartment searching in Paris is a tricky task and are mostly small studios. After living in six apartments in six years, I can finally say that I have found my feet in a tiny place I can call my own.

As a way to get to know the cultural life of Paris, I created this blog as an online diary of such, where I could document my photography and little findings that make this city precious to me.

Paris can be as creative as you want it to be. There is always so much to do and see as the seasons pass from beautiful markets to puppet shows and eccentric expositions. I find having a bike is fantastic in the summer time. Paris for me, now feels like a home away from home and I learn to love it more as the years go by.

It is all about getting out of your comfort zone and just going for it.

I hope you enjoy!

Love Lucy
