A Picture of Paris
Hello and welcome to my blog!
I love to photograph people on the streets of Paris to capture the moment as they admire a window display or are going about their daily lives.
In the photo below, these two messieurs are admiring the window of an antique store that sells an array of unusual objects. The window display charms the passers-by with it's eccentricity, as can be seen here.
There is something lovely to observe from another lens. It creates a story and I wonder what they do for a living and why this window display caught their eye.
Les Bouquinistes of Paris that line the quays of the Seine always attract interesting characters. I often find beautiful post cards and old books and overhear intriguing conversations.
Galerie Véro-Dodat as pictured below is one of the covered passages of Paris that feels like taking a step back in time with its vintage interior.
